The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that its field offices will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate taxpayers and improve service delivery. According to the official statement, all field offices will continue to operate on weekends during normal working hours, ensuring uninterrupted access to tax-related services.

The decision has been taken with the aim of making tax procedures more convenient for the public and reducing delays in filing and other compliance matters. FBR officials stated that the step is part of ongoing reforms to improve efficiency, increase taxpayer support, and strengthen revenue collection systems across the country.
