Pakistan has announced 500 scholarships for Bangladeshi students over the next five years under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar first announced the launch of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor during his visit to Bangladesh in August 2025. The initiative aims to strengthen educational cooperation, academic exchange, and people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The second phase of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor officially began in Dhaka on May 10, 2026. A Bangladeshi delegation is currently visiting Pakistan for a three-week educational and cultural exchange program under the initiative. The program is expected to create new opportunities for students, researchers, and academic institutions from both countries while promoting stronger regional collaboration in higher education and knowledge sharing.
