Saudi Arabia has introduced a new “Package Visa” system designed to make travel easier and more convenient for Pakistani travelers and other international visitors. The new digital initiative allows eligible tourists to apply for and receive their tourist visa while booking their flights and hotel accommodations through approved travel service providers.
Under the new system, travelers will no longer need to complete separate procedures for flight reservations, hotel bookings, and visa applications. Instead, the entire process will be integrated into a single, streamlined booking experience, reducing paperwork and saving valuable time.
Initially, the Package Visa will be rolled out in selected international markets through qualified and authorized travel and tourism agencies. Saudi authorities plan to expand the service more broadly after the initial phase.
The package will also allow visitors to include entertainment events, tourist attractions, and other travel experiences in a single booking, making it easier to plan complete vacations and encouraging longer stays in the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia Provides Second $1 Billion Tranche to Pakistan
Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb said the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to making travel more accessible and seamless for international visitors. By integrating visa issuance with travel bookings, Saudi Arabia aims to provide a more efficient and connected travel experience.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, only licensed travel agencies and service providers that meet strict quality standards and offer 24/7 customer support will be authorized to provide the Package Visa service. This is expected to improve service quality while ensuring a secure and reliable booking process.
The new Package Visa complements Saudi Arabia’s existing e-Visa, Visa on Arrival, and Stopover Transit Visa programs. Following a record 29 million international visitors in 2025, Saudi officials expect the new initiative to further boost tourism and attract even more travelers from around the world, including Pakistan.
