Indus Motor Company (IMC) has significantly increased the prices of its Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) lineup in Pakistan following changes introduced in the Federal Budget 2026–27. The revised ex-factory prices came into effect on July 1, 2026, reflecting the withdrawal of reduced GST incentives for locally assembled hybrid vehicles.

Under the new pricing, the Toyota Corolla Cross HEV X is now priced at Rs. 10.299 million, up by Rs. 1.364 million. Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla Cross HEV now costs Rs. 9.849 million, following a Rs. 1.314 million increase.

The company said the price adjustment is directly linked to the expiry of tax concessions for hybrid vehicles under the new fiscal policy. However, petrol variants of the Corolla Cross remain unchanged, offering buyers an alternative without additional price increases.

IMC also noted that the final vehicle price at the time of delivery may vary depending on future changes in government taxes, import duties, exchange rates, or other applicable levies.

The revised pricing reflects the broader impact of the government’s new taxation policy on Pakistan’s hybrid vehicle market. Industry analysts believe the higher prices could affect consumer demand for hybrid SUVs, as buyers weigh the benefits of fuel efficiency against increased purchase costs.

Despite the price hike, the Corolla Cross HEV remains one of Pakistan’s most popular hybrid SUVs, known for its fuel economy, advanced safety features, and reliable performance.
