The Ministry of Religious Affairs has finalized the selection of lucky pilgrims under the Government Hajj Scheme 2026.

According to official sources, a total of 118,060 Hajj applications were received from across the country. The submission process for applications has now been closed after reaching the required quota. Applications were accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, both online and through designated banks over a period of 17 days.

Early Registration Opens for Hajj 2026 in Pakistan Next Week

Pilgrims had the option to apply for long-duration or short-duration Hajj packages, depending on their preferences. The Ministry collected half of the Hajj expenses as the first installment, while the remaining amount will be paid later.

The second installment of Hajj dues will be collected from November 1, 2025. According to estimates, the total cost of performing Hajj under the government scheme will range between PKR 1.15 million and PKR 1.25 million.

This year, the Ministry of Religious Affairs managed to complete the application collection process earlier than usual, ensuring better planning and timely arrangements for the pilgrims.

The announcement has brought relief and joy to thousands of successful applicants who will be traveling to Saudi Arabia next year for the spiritual journey.
