OpenAI, the US-based artificial intelligence company, has introduced a new free model for its AI chatbot, ChatGPT. According to a statement released by the company, the new model, called “Model 03”, is more proficient in math, science, and other technical and scientific subjects. The model can be accessed by updating the ChatGPT app and web browser, and can also be used through the company’s “Application Programming Interface” (API).
This is the first time that OpenAI has made its fastest model available for free, although users will only have access to its basic and limited features. ChatGPT typically allows users to access better features through subscription. However, following the introduction of a ChatGPT alternative by a Chinese company, OpenAI has made several features of its fastest model available for free.
It is expected that with the entry of Chinese companies into the artificial intelligence market, OpenAI and other companies will provide users with free access to most features of AI chatbots.
