Pakistanis Invest Heavily in Dubai, with 8,179 New Companies Registered

There has been a significant increase in the number of Pakistani companies registering in Dubai. According to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, 8,179 new Pakistani companies were registered in 2024, making Pakistan the second-largest country in terms of new business registrations in Dubai.

India topped the list with 16,623 new registrations, followed by Pakistan, Egypt, Syria, and the UK. The report also highlighted a significant increase in registrations from Iraq and Turkey, with 37.8% and 25.5% growth, respectively.

The majority of new registrations in Dubai were in the trade and services sector, accounting for 41.1% of total registrations. The real estate, rental, and business services sector accounted for 32.9%, while the construction sector accounted for 10.5%. The transport and communication sector accounted for 8.4% of new registrations.

This surge in registrations highlights the growing interest of Pakistani businesses in Dubai, which offers a strategic location, favorable business environment, and access to a large market.
