The blackout, which began around 9 PM, has affected homes, street lights, and essential services across the area, including Bahria Orchard and Bahria Naseem.
The situation is particularly acute because Bahria Town operates an independent power supply system, making such extended blackouts highly unusual. Residents, who are accustomed to a reliable electricity supply, have been left without power for several hours, leading to a wave of complaints on social media.

A lawyer and resident, Advocate Mian Zahid, has appealed to the government, arguing that ordinary citizens are being unfairly punished for the legal issues of the development company. He emphasized that residents are hard-working individuals who purchased their homes with their earnings and should not have their basic rights and daily comfort compromised.
Reports on social media suggest the blackout may be a result of frozen accounts preventing the payment of electricity bills. Residents are now urgently calling for government intervention to resolve the crisis and restore normalcy.
