In a heartwarming display of interfaith harmony, a young Hindu girl named Neha Bharati has been distributing iftar to Muslims in Delhi’s historic Jama Masjid during the holy month of Ramadan. This selfless act has earned her widespread appreciation and admiration from people of all faiths.
Neha, a 27-year-old MBA graduate and Ph.D. aspirant, has been distributing iftar in Jama Masjid for the past three years. She was inspired by her parents, who taught her the importance of respecting all religions and promoting unity among people.
“I was brought up in an environment where my parents taught me to respect all religions,” Neha said in an interview. “I realized that there was a lot of hatred and negativity around, and I wanted to do something to promote unity and love.”
Neha’s initiative has been well-received by the Muslim community in Jama Masjid. People of all ages and backgrounds gather around her to receive the iftar packets, which contain dates, fruits, and other snacks.
“I am very happy to see people from different faiths coming together to promote unity and love,” said Mohammad Arif, a local resident who has been receiving iftar from Neha for the past three years. “Neha’s initiative is a shining example of what we can achieve when we put aside our differences and come together as human beings.”
Neha’s efforts have also inspired others to join her in promoting interfaith harmony. A group of young people from different faiths has come together to support Neha’s initiative, and they are now distributing iftar in several mosques across Delhi.
“I am very proud of Neha for taking this initiative,” said Rohan, a young Hindu who has been supporting Neha’s efforts. “We need more people like her who are willing to take a stand for unity and love.”
Neha’s story is a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness and compassion can make a big difference in promoting interfaith harmony and unity. As she continues to distribute iftar in Jama Masjid, Neha remains committed to her mission of spreading love and unity among people of all faiths.
“I will continue to do this as long as I can,” Neha said with a smile. “I believe that love and unity are the only ways to bring people together and create a more harmonious society.”
