Foundation Stone Laid for Pakistan’s Tallest 82-Storey ‘Burj Quaid’ Towers in Karachi

The foundation stone has been laid for Burj Quaid, an ambitious new development that is set to become Pakistan’s tallest building. The groundbreaking ceremony was held at the DHA Golf Club in Karachi, marking the beginning of a landmark project expected to redefine the city’s skyline.

According to media reports, the project will consist of two 82-storey towers spread across approximately six acres. Officials at the ceremony said that the required approvals for the high-rise development have already been obtained from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), clearing the way for construction to begin.

The event was attended by the Administrator of DHA Karachi as the chief guest, along with the Administrator of DHA City, leading builders, developers, and other distinguished guests from the real estate sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, Brigadier Kashif Naeem, Administrator of DHA City, described the project as a significant milestone for Karachi and Pakistan. He said Burj Quaid is expected to become an architectural masterpiece that reflects the country’s ambition, innovation, and economic potential. He also emphasized the importance of large-scale infrastructure projects in supporting Karachi’s role as Pakistan’s economic hub.

The developers believe the project will not only transform Karachi’s urban landscape but also attract local and international investment, create employment opportunities, and boost confidence in Pakistan’s real estate sector. Once completed, the twin towers are expected to stand as one of the country’s most iconic landmarks.

Construction of Burj Quaid represents another major step toward modern urban development while reinforcing Karachi’s position as a center for business, investment, and architectural excellence.
