INFLATION RATE DROPS TO -3.52% IN PAKISTAN, BRINGING RELIEF TO CITIZENS

Pakistan’s inflation rate has continued its downward trend, now standing at -3.52% on a yearly basis, as reported in the latest weekly update from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. Notably, prices for essential items such as wheat flour, garlic, bananas, onions, and rice have decreased, contributing to the overall inflation drop. However, there were minor increases in the prices of potatoes, eggs, and gur (jaggery). The Prime Minister has expressed his satisfaction with this downward trend in inflation, crediting it to the government’s policies designed to promote economic stability and ensure that the benefits are passed on to the population.
