Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held important phone conversations with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq amid rising regional tensions. During the calls, he outlined Iran’s position and stressed that Tehran will act firmly to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Araghchi said Iran considers self-defense a basic and legal right under international law. He made it clear that the country will use all necessary defensive and military capabilities to safeguard its borders and national security. He also emphasized that international law clearly forbids any country from taking part in or supporting acts of aggression against another state.

In his discussions, the Iranian foreign minister urged regional governments to remain vigilant. He called on neighboring countries not to allow their land, airspace, or resources to be used by the United States or Israel for hostile actions against Iran. According to Araghchi, cooperation in such actions would further destabilize the region and increase the risk of a wider conflict.

He warned that Iran’s Armed Forces would consider the origin and source of any attack by the United States or Israel as legitimate targets. He added that any move aimed at countering Iran’s defensive measures would also be viewed seriously.

Araghchi concluded by saying that the conflict imposed by the United States and Israel is not only against Iran but threatens the security of the entire region. He called for unity and responsible action to prevent further escalation and protect regional stability.
