Pakistan’s motorcycle and three-wheeler industry has achieved its best-ever sales performance in FY26, reflecting a strong recovery in consumer demand and improving economic activity across the country.

According to data shared by Arif Habib Limited, motorcycle sales reached a record 1.932 million units during the fiscal year, surpassing the previous all-time high of 1.853 million units recorded in FY21. When three-wheelers are included, total industry sales climbed to 1.974 million units, setting a new historic benchmark for the sector.

The record-breaking performance marks a significant turnaround after the slowdown experienced during FY23 and FY24. Analysts attribute the recovery to improving economic conditions, stronger consumer purchasing power, and increased demand for affordable personal transportation.

Atlas Honda maintained its dominant position in the market, selling a record 1.69 million motorcycles in FY26 and accounting for nearly 88 percent of total industry sales. United Auto ranked second with 190,800 units sold during the fiscal year.

In the three-wheeler segment, Sazgar Engineering continued to lead the market with 28,600 units sold, reinforcing its position as Pakistan’s top manufacturer in the category.

The record sales figures highlight the growing importance of two- and three-wheelers as affordable transportation options for millions of Pakistanis. Industry experts believe continued economic stability, easier financing options, and rising mobility needs could further support growth in the automotive sector during the coming fiscal years.
