The inauguration of Gwadar International Airport will take place today with all arrangements now finalized. Federal Minister for Aviation, Khawaja Asif, will officially open the airport, and the first flight, PK 503, will depart from Karachi to Gwadar. Upon the arrival of the inaugural flight, a water salute will be performed.
As Pakistan’s second greenfield airport, Gwadar International is equipped with modern facilities and is capable of accommodating large aircraft, including the Airbus 380. This new airport represents a major achievement for the country’s aviation industry.
