In a joint statement, the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Lebanese Republic, the Syrian Arab Republic, and the State of Palestine, together with the secretariats of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the League of Arab States (LAS), and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed strong condemnation and profound concern over recent remarks by the U.S Ambassador to Israel. The ambassador’s statements suggested that it would be acceptable for Israel to exercise control over territories belonging to Arab states, including the occupied West Bank.

The ministers emphasized that these remarks directly contradict the vision outlined by former U.S. President Donald J. Trump and the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, which were designed to contain escalation and provide a political framework for a comprehensive settlement. The joint statement noted that the plan’s goal is to promote tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and the establishment of a Palestinian state, and that any remarks seeking to legitimize control over Arab lands undermine these objectives, inflame tensions, and constitute incitement rather than advancing peace.

The statement reaffirmed that Israel has no sovereignty over the Occupied Palestinian Territory or any other occupied Arab lands. The ministers reiterated their firm rejection of attempts to annex the West Bank, separate it from the Gaza Strip, or expand settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. They also categorically rejected any threats to the sovereignty of Arab states, emphasizing that such actions violate international law and undermine regional stability.

The joint communiqué warned that continued expansionist policies and unlawful measures by Israel would only escalate violence and conflict, further diminishing prospects for peace in the region. The ministers called for an end to incendiary statements and stressed the importance of upholding international agreements and resolutions regarding Palestinian self-determination.

Finally, the statement underscored the unwavering commitment of all participating countries to the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. They reaffirmed support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 4 June 1967 borders and demanded an end to the occupation of all Arab lands. The ministers urged all parties to respect international law and work toward a just and lasting solution that guarantees peace, security, and sovereignty for all states in the region.
