The most notable change is that only those applicants who possess a verified biometric appointment code will be allowed to enter the visa centers.
Effective from June 2, all applicants wishing to visit the visa center must present a valid appointment code. This code will be generated after completing the online visa application process and verified through the portal. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of USD 69 at any branch of Bank Al-Falah before coming to the visa center. This payment is mandatory and serves as part of the verification process.
On the day of the appointment, applicants must carry the original bank receipt along with all necessary documents. It is also essential for applicants to bring photocopies of all uploaded documents during the online application process. Those who have completed their online application but have not received the appointment code should contact the EIMASS help desk at +971 2 418 6999. After a brief verification process, the appointment code will be sent via email or SMS to the applicant.

Once the appointment code is received, applicants can visit the designated portal to schedule their appointment date and time. The portal requires applicants to enter their passport number and appointment code to confirm their slot.
