The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced a 7% increase in toll rates for motorists using the Lahore–Islamabad Motorway (M-2). The revised toll charges will come into effect on July 5, 2026, and will remain applicable until April 23, 2027.
According to an official notification, the increase is being implemented under the concession agreement between the NHA and Motorway Operations and Rehabilitation Engineering (Private) Limited (MORE), a subsidiary of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The agreement supports the overlay, rehabilitation, and modernization of the M-2 Motorway.

The revised rates are based on updated per-kilometre charges under the concession agreement and are aimed at supporting the continued maintenance and improvement of one of Pakistan’s busiest motorway corridors.
