Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced that Pakistan Railway has earned a profit of Rs10 billion, marking a significant financial improvement for the national transport entity. He shared this information while speaking to the media in Rawalpindi.
The railways minister also revealed plans to launch a new railway track from the Hazara Division by the end of the year, aimed at improving regional connectivity and boosting economic activity in the area. He added that Pakistan Railways is working on a broader vision to strengthen infrastructure and expand services.

Hanif Abbasi further stated that Pakistan Railways will be connected to Central Asian states, with the foundation of this major regional connectivity project expected to be laid by the end of the current year. He emphasized that such initiatives would enhance trade, regional cooperation, and Pakistan’s strategic importance.
Speaking on national matters, the minister said that Pakistan belongs to those who are making sacrifices for it, adding that the entire world acknowledges Pakistan’s victories. He also highlighted ongoing development efforts in Rawalpindi, noting that schools, colleges, and hospitals in the city are being upgraded to improve public services and infrastructure.
