WORLD BANK PRESIDENT VISITS CULTURAL SITES IN PAKISTAN, DISCUSSES ECONOMIC AFFAIRS WITH KP ADVISERS

World Bank President Ajay Pal Singh Banga visited the Gurudwara in Hasanabdal and the Jaulian Buddhist archaeological site in Khanpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), on Sunday, according to official statements. The visit also included discussions on the province’s economic affairs with KP government officials.

President Banga was accompanied by his spouse and senior World Bank officials during the visit. Adviser to the KP Chief Minister on Finance, Muzzammil Aslam, and MNA Faisal Amin Gandapur welcomed him warmly. Federal Minister for Finance Aurangzeb and his spouse also participated in the visit.

The visit highlights the importance of cultural heritage and tourism in KP while providing an opportunity for dialogue on regional economic development and potential collaboration with the World Bank.
