A tragic maritime accident off the coast of Oman on September 7 has left 19 Pakistani migrants missing after their boat caught fire during a storm.
According to reports, the vessel had departed from Gwadar, Pakistan, and was transiting through Iran on its way to Oman when a gas cylinder exploded, sparking a blaze that quickly engulfed the boat. There were 20 people onboard at the time of the incident.

Only one passenger, identified as Hameedullah Khan, survived the disaster. He was rescued by a passing ship and is currently under the care of the Pakistani Embassy in Oman, which is assisting him and arranging for his repatriation.
The fate of the remaining 19 passengers remains unknown, and search operations have been launched to locate them.
