According to the KPCTA, the tourist statistics were collected through police check posts, Levies check posts, the KP Tourist Police, Assistant Commissioners’ offices, and field teams from development authorities. This monitoring system helps authorities track visitor numbers and improve tourism management across the province.
The strong tourist turnout highlights the growing popularity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s natural beauty, including its mountains, rivers, forests, and valleys. Improved road infrastructure, better security, and enhanced tourism facilities have encouraged more families and travelers to visit the region.
Officials believe the increasing number of tourists will boost local businesses, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the province’s tourism economy. With the summer holiday season in full swing, visitor numbers are expected to rise even further in the coming weeks.
