Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reportedly offered to take former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan to Türkiye, according to claims made by former federal information minister Mushahid Hussain Syed.

Speaking during a discussion on a private news channel program hosted by senior journalist Asma Shirazi, Mushahid Hussain stated that President Erdoğan had expressed willingness to facilitate Imran Khan’s relocation to Türkiye. However, no official confirmation has been issued by either the Turkish or Pakistani governments regarding this claim.

The statement has sparked discussion in political circles, as Imran Khan has been facing legal and political challenges in Pakistan. Analysts note that any such move would depend on legal procedures, diplomatic considerations, and official approvals from relevant authorities.

So far, neither Imran Khan nor his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has commented on the reported offer. Similarly, Türkiye’s presidency has not released any formal response to the claim.

The development, if confirmed, could carry significant political and diplomatic implications, given the close bilateral ties between Pakistan and Türkiye and Imran Khan’s longstanding relationship with President Erdoğan.
