The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has officially announced a revised date for the much-anticipated 5G spectrum auction, which is now scheduled for March 10, 2026.
According to PTA, the decision was taken by the Auction Advisory Committee after a comprehensive review of the auction framework, timelines, and consultations with key stakeholders. The auction will offer low-, mid-, and high-frequency spectrum bands, aimed at enabling nationwide 5G deployment.

Authorities emphasized that the auction is a critical step toward launching next-generation mobile services in Pakistan.
