The National Highway Authority (NHA) has officially increased toll tax rates on Pakistan’s national highways, motorways, and expressways, with the revised charges coming into effect from July 10, 2026. The new toll schedule applies to all vehicle categories using the country’s major road network.
Under the updated tariff, the toll fee for cars travelling on National Highways (GT Road) has been increased to Rs. 100. Toll rates have also been revised for several key motorways, including M-1, M-3, M-4, M-5, M-14, E-35, E-75, and the Kohat Tunnel. Other vehicle categories, such as buses, trucks, and heavy transport vehicles, will also pay higher toll charges under the new pricing structure.
The NHA stated that the revised toll rates will be implemented nationwide and will apply to all eligible vehicles using the country’s motorway and highway network. The increase is part of the authority’s efforts to support the operation, maintenance, and development of Pakistan’s road infrastructure.
