Saudi Arabia has officially announced that the Shawwal moon was not sighted, confirming that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2026. The Supreme Court made the announcement after reviewing reports from observatories and moon-sighting committees across the country.
Meetings were held in various cities, and citizens were also encouraged to participate in moon sighting. However, no confirmed sighting was reported from any region. As a result, it has been decided that Ramadan 1447 Hijri will complete 30 days.
