Authorities in Madinah have released the official schedule for visiting Riyaz-ul-Jannah (Rawdah) at Masjid-e-Nabawi during Ramadan 2026. Due to the large number of worshippers expected in the holy month, separate timings have been set for men and women. The schedule is divided into two parts: the first 20 days (1st and 2nd Ashra) and the last 10 days (3rd Ashra) of Ramadan. These arrangements are aimed at ensuring smooth crowd management and a peaceful spiritual experience for all visitors.
For the first 20 days of Ramadan, men will be allowed to visit Rawdah during two time slots daily. The first slot runs from 11:20 AM to 8:00 PM, and the second slot is from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. These extended hours provide flexibility for worshippers, especially those observing fasting and Taraweeh prayers.

During the same period, women will have designated visiting hours from 11:00 PM to 1:40 AM and from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. These specific timings are set to maintain order and ensure a comfortable environment for female worshippers.
In the last 10 days of Ramadan, when the number of visitors increases significantly due to the search for Laylatul Qadr, the schedule has been adjusted. Men will have three available time slots: from 11:20 AM to 8:00 PM, from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. The additional late-night slot is introduced to manage the higher demand during these blessed nights.
For women in the final Ashra, one dedicated time slot has been assigned, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM only. Authorities have streamlined the schedule to maintain safety and reduce overcrowding.
Advance booking through the official Nusuk app is mandatory for all visitors. Each permit is valid once every 365 days, meaning individuals can visit Rawdah only once per year with an approved booking. Entry will be through the southern courtyards opposite Gate 37, also known as the Makkah Gate. Visitors are advised to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before their scheduled time to ensure smooth entry.
These updated timings reflect the authorities’ efforts to provide an organized, safe, and spiritually meaningful experience for worshippers during Ramadan 2026.
