Pakistani digital entrepreneur and trader Waqar Zaka has won an international multi-asset trading competition in Dubai, earning the top prize of a 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon after outperforming participants from around the world.

Unlike conventional cryptocurrency trading contests, the TradFi competition challenged participants to trade across multiple financial markets using a single platform. Contestants were required to demonstrate their skills in stocks, gold, silver, commodities, and cryptocurrencies, making the event a comprehensive test of trading strategy, risk management, and market knowledge.

The competition was based solely on trading performance, with no team-based scoring, referral systems, or promotional requirements. Winners were determined by their overall profit-and-loss (P&L) results, rewarding traders who could successfully adapt to changing market conditions across different asset classes.

Waqar Zaka secured first place by consistently delivering strong results in both traditional financial markets and digital assets. A trader from South Korea finished in second place, while a participant from China claimed third position.

The achievement has generated significant attention among Pakistan’s trading and cryptocurrency communities, with many congratulating Zaka for representing the country on an international stage. Supporters praised his ability to compete successfully in a highly challenging environment that required expertise beyond cryptocurrency trading alone.

The victory also highlights the growing importance of multi-asset trading, where investors increasingly diversify their portfolios across equities, commodities, precious metals, and digital currencies to manage risk and capitalize on market opportunities.

Waqar Zaka’s success is being viewed as another milestone for Pakistani traders, demonstrating that local talent can compete and excel in global financial competitions.
